Greenmelon was launched in January of 2007 as a one-stop news source for friends, acquaintances, industry insiders and Dutch fashion enthusiasts. Frustrated with having to browse multiple websites to keep up with the latest information, the creation of Greenmelon allowed for the latest news to be broadcast through one specific medium, the Greenmelon web magazine. Based on a simple WordPress magazine theme and being featured in hundreds of other blogs, websites and magazines, things rapidly came clear that Greenmelon had the potential to become one of Holland’s most interesting online lifestyle magazines.
Over the past four years, the site has grown from a small sneaker- and fashion focussed blog to a large well-respected information source within the industry. Features and interviews that profile designers and brands serve as a platform for companies to showcase new and upcoming products, while keeping readers informed of new trends, specific hypes, music releases, retailers, and events.
Attracting a vast and diverse readership from around the globe, Greenmelon boasts 20.000 vistors a month and 100.000 page views per month, Greenmelon is the premier Dutch destination for fashion and culture on the web.
